Description

CSA File #LL23462 Class 5832 02

 

Two or three TWU-40 (copper) conductors cabled together with green insulated bonding wire. Extra thickness of FT1 rated flame retardant, low temperature, moisture resistant PVC insulation, coloured for identification. Rated 600 volts.

 

Application

For use with submersible pumps installed in water wells.
Minimum recommended installation temperature minus 40°C (with suitable handling procedures).
Maximum conductor temperature 60°C.

Selling delivery information

* Most provincial inspection authorities require bonding conductors in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code. Others, like Ontario and the Yukon, require #8 AWG. Check with your inspection department for local requirements.

 

CSA C22.2 No.75 now requires the ground conductor to be the same size (or larger) as the phase conductor in sizes #14, #12 and #10.
