Stated Assumptions
Ampacities are based on the following Canadian Electrical Code (2009) tables:
a)       Free air ampacities are based on Tables 1, 2, 3 and 4. Conductor sizes are limited from #14 AWG copper (or #12 AWG aluminum) to 1000 kcmil.
b)       Buried ampacities are based on Tables D8A, D9A, D10A, D11A, D12A, D13A, D14A and D15A. Copper and aluminum conductor sizes are limited from #1/0 AWG to 1000 kcmil.
