ACIC-PCS is a 90C dry / 75C wet 600V armoured cable with 2 or 3 PVC/Nylon insulated solid copper conductors + 2 PVC/Nylon insulated control wires in a separately jacketed PVC sub-assembly + a bare copper ground.

Colour coding

• 2c + 2c constructions:
  • 1 black and 1 white circuit conductors, 1 pink and 1 purple control conductors assembled in a blue jacket, 1 bare copper grounding conductor.

• 3c + 2c constructions:
  • 1 black, 1 red, and 1 white circuit conductors, 1 pink and 1 purple control conductors assembled in a blue jacket, 1 bare copper grounding conductor.

Why would we need it?

• Can be used when conductors are connected to different sources of voltage and are functionally associated, for example:
